The magazine we wished existed.
Ptichka is a print magazine for children ages 3–6 and their grown-ups. It's made to become a shared memory in Russian. Inside you’ll find stories, games, and beauty. No noise, no screens, no lessons.
Peek inside.
Ptichka doesn’t teach or judge. It tells stories with humour, respect for children’s intelligence, and an eye for the beauty of the world.
Ptichka is made to be held.
Ptichka was created by mothers raising children between countries and languages.
It’s lovely to open together.
You want to leave it on the table.
And children look forward to finding it in the mail.
NOT JUST TO READ, BUT TO MAKE.
With Ptichka, you can draw, cut, glue, and come back to your favourite pages.
LANGUAGE FOR CLOSENESS, NOT LESSONS.
No lectures, no clichés. We keep the language for laughing, for reading together, for shared memories and for everything we haven't thought up yet.
FOR PARENTS.
Inhale. Exhale. Repeat. A small, quiet moment for you.
Not Just pictures. Windows into a bigger world.
Ptichka is made from illustrations and real photographs, from make-believe and real life, to look closely, notice things, and turn what we see into something of our own.

Who makes Ptichka.
We're Nastia, Masha, and Regina— three mothers and co-founders, each bringing a different perspective: words, visual form, and how children see, hear, and feel.
